As sisters, Cassie and Becky are bonded by blood. As friends, we’re all bonded by choice. Together, we laugh uncontrollably for no reason, finish each other’s sentences, and fuel each other’s addiction to good coffee and chocolate.
You can expect us to be honest and transparent about the things we have experienced. We will cover many different aspect of our lives: cancer, life threatening allergies, infertility, adoption, raising children, creating a loving home, what following Christ means for us, how we nourish our bodies, and so much more!
So, welcome to BFC, where we love fiercely and live deeply.
Welcome to an inside look into our crazy life! I’m a mom of three: two biological daughters and one adopted son. I’m married to the world’s most awesome guy, who also happens to be my high school sweetheart. My college degree is in education and during the school year you will find me sitting on the floor of my preschool classroom surrounded by the sweetest kiddos. During the summer months I’m either enjoying our lake property or off exploring new places with my family. I love Jesus (and coffee and chocolate and books) and desire to model my own life after the Proverbs 31 woman as I strive to be the best possible version of myself.
Hi there! Thanks for joining me. I’m a Christ-follower, wife, mommy, and blogger who is passionate about being healthy and making life as simple as possible. I believe that taking care of your body should be a priority but that good health goes beyond the physical. To be healthy, you need to be nourished in both body and soul. As I explore what this means in my own life, I get to share it here with you. How fun!
We also have a special friend who is part of the Bare Feet and Curls team. You can look forward to reading Sara’s posts several times throughout the year.
I’m so happy to be joining two of my dearest friends here at Bare Feet and Curls! I’m married to my best friend and spend my days adventuring with my son while enjoying that homeschooling experience. I created and launched Raising Warriors – a resource and support network for parents of medically complex children. There have been lots of unexpected twists and turns in my life but I am reminded every day that God works ALL THINGS for good.
